Bodmin Moor – Cornwall

Wild horse on Bodmin Moor

I had never really spent any time in the Cornish Moors before, so on a beautiful sunny March morning I went for a walk around Bodmin Moor. All I can say is, wow! There is such variety, even on the small section I went around. Strange rock structures, horses, quarries, lakes, streams and everything in between. The horses were not overly friendly, but with a calm approach I managed to get some photographs.

Although the weather was near perfect whilst I was walking across the moor, the weather can be brutal as this wind swept tree on a hill face shows.
