Every year Oxford University holds its Encaenia ceremony where honorary degrees are handed out, this year this included Sir George Martin, producer of all but one the Beatles albums and the Italian prime minister, His Excellency Giorgio Napolitano. A few months ago a new addition was crafted, ghetto doesn’t even begin to describe how this thing looks from the back. Rides perfectly though. I wish we had some more days with weather like this.

Clissold bowl is about a 10 minute pedal from my house and is pretty much the best bowl I have ever ridden. Jimmy has this place dialled.

Having never been particularly fussed about the Royals I have become quite a fan since they gave us all a bank holiday and a classic aeroplane flyover. Here you can see a Spitfires, a Hurricane and a Lancaster bomber. Very surreal to see them all going over London again after all these years. Taken from my flat window in east London.

Summer has been trying to peak through the spring coldness, last weekend it felt like it had won the battle. Everyone was making the most of the sunshine, including Sammy with this rock fakie. Notice the hands grabbing the board ‘helping’.
