With this weekend’s weather having been so appalling it seemed like the ideal time to share some photos of the fun which has been had at Clissold bowl over the last couple of weeks

The lake, and this is after it had already been emptied earlier in the day!

Team work got the job done in no time.. The drain has now been cleared, apparently taking mutliple trips from an industrial machine to sort it. Hopefully there won’t be more seen like this to come.

Last night was the official completion of the outside work on The Shard building. To celebrate there was a light and laser show, I popped down to the banks of the Thames to take some photos of the tallest building in SE1, and the whole of Western Europe for that matter. Towards the end of the night the Olympic rings were also lowered from Tower bridge.

Lasers were shone onto other tall buildings around London.

I am looking forward to going up to the top of The Shard and getting some photos from the viewing gallery when the internals are completed. Photos taken on Canon 5d MK III.

Now that winter has come round again building has restarted on some new additions at the spot. The odd run can still be had if you can dodge the rain and pneumatic drills.

This pile of former carpark waste has started it’s transformation into something beautiful.

A man who knows how to handle a drill..

The turret does seem a fitting name for this beast.

Pattercake…

It’s going to be an experience flying over this one
