I recently shot a set of headshots and portraits for David Campbell, one of England’s top clarinetists who lives and teaches in London. I shot a variety of different looks with and without his clarinet for use in magazines articles, profiles and concert programs. This was my favourite shot from the shoot, taken with the Canon 50mm F/1.4 and 2 Elinchrom studio heads at F/1.4 only using the modelling bulbs of the flashes.

Head shot session with actor Lucy Walters for use in Spotlight, the premier actor’s listing directory. A simple 2 light set-up was used to capture her head shot, it was then cropped to the 10×8″ required for Spotlight (has been shown here at the original crop though). I shot several different angles and with hair up and down to give a variety of looks.

I am now living and working in Shoreditch, East London having moved from Oxford at long last! I have quite a few exciting projects in the pipe line, more information on them soon!

Shot on location in Oxfordshire using a studio head and portable battery pack.

Natural light shot on location. These were from a shoot with Charlotte last month where we shot both in my studio and on location. Thanks to Emma for doing the hair and make-up.

A shop in Oxford lent some beautiful designer clothes for the shoot, thanks to Booty Oxford.

I tried to go for a classic look in this picture, thinking Egyptian princess! I have no idea how Shara got the hair to stay up like that! Great look though.

I loved the frills on this dress. To try and show them I got Abi to jump so they lifted up slightly to give the impression of her floating.
Photos were all shot at my Oxfordshire studio. A big thanks to Shara for doing a great job on make-up and Abi Penhale for modelling. If you are interested in getting your portfolio updated please contact me.
