Winter in Cornwall

I have many childhood memories of shivering in one Cornish town or another on a English ‘summer’ holiday. Earlier in the year I went with my mum and sisters for a long weekend in and around Charlestown in Cornwall.

These quaint small towns feel untouched by modern life, the boats still slowly sail out to see, and no-one seems to be in a rush. A good pint of ale in a pub with a warm fire was just what I needed after the excitment of New Years…

I was able to walk around the sea walls completely on my own in the howling gale.

A burned out former nightclub eagerly awaits so kind of massive re-generation project. I rather like it disapearing back into nature myself. I have traveled all over the world, but have seen a tiny fraction of Britain, I really need to rectify that at some point.
